Kyria Rebeca Finardi es profesora titular y catedrática en el Departamento de Lenguas, Cultura y Educación (DLCE) y en el Programa de Posgrado en Educación (PPGE) de la Universidad Federal de Espírito Santo (UFES), en Vitória (Brasil), donde también forma parte de la Junta Permanente de Internacionalización. Ha sido presidenta de la Asociación Brasileña de Lingüística Aplicada (ALAB) y de la Asociación Brasileña de Tecnología Educativa (ABEHTE). Es cofundadora y coordinadora de la Asociación Iberoamericana de Lingüística Aplicada (AIALA), presidenta de la Asociación Internacional de Lingüística Aplicada (AILA), donde también cofundó la Red de Investigación de AILA EMEVEDI. Cuenta con una amplia experiencia en proyectos COIL con múltiples participantes en todos los continentes.
Kyria Rebeca Finardi is a Full Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Languages, Culture and Education (DLCE) and post-graduate program of Education (PPGE) of the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES), in Vitória, Brazil, where she is also a member of the Permanent Board of Internationalization. She was the President of the Brazilian Association of Applied Linguistics (ALAB) and the Brazilian Association of Educational Technology (ABEHTE). She is the co-founder and coordinator of the Ibero-America Association of Applied Linguistics (AIALA), President of the International Association of Applied Linguistics (AILA) where she also co-created the AILA Research Network EMEVEDI. She has extensive experience with COIL projects with multiple participants in all continents.
